Paper Doll: Item Mods

Description

This might be better served as an individual module, but it's based on Paper Doll's concepts and framework. The concept is a system for Foundry items to have a Paper Dolls-like interface to represent modifications made to items, such as Runes or Sockets in fantasy settings, or Attachments in modern/sci-fi ones. This could be purely cosmetic and used as a tool to track mods, but I'm also envisioning a system that takes advantage of Foundry's (or at least, 5e's) enchantments. Have an item made with an enchantment effect (and probably activity), and then by placing the item in a slot the enchantment is automatically applied to the parent item, and vice versa when removed. I am not sure of equivalent activities in other game systems. In a perfect world, individual items could have their own layouts, so a higher rarity weapon might be able to have more runes, or certain firearms being able to have attachments others cannot. Not sure how possible that would be, but I'm thinking about a sort of Skill Tree grid layout + background image design. Maybe it could involve creating templates elsewhere, and then selecting one to apply to an item, rather than directly tying the data to the items? No clue how reasonably possible this would be, but I think it'd be a worthwhile addition. Proof of concept images attached.
