Having more collapsible tiers in journals would be super helpful for when you have expansive journals. Right now it allows you to collapse and expand an entry when there are different headers on the same page. Would it possible to allow for collapse expand based on the level of the page itself within the entire journal object structure? In the attached image, being able to collapse "Sandpoint" would be ideal, so players don't have to scroll all the way down to see the other sections.

For more investigation-focused games, having a way to piece together different people or clues in a more visual manner would be really useful. To create the feeling of a detective going through a case, nothing beats a corkboard-style investigation board. Currently, the best option for this style of visual in Foundry is the Investigation Board module. However, this creates an image board on a map canvas, which makes it hard to go back to it in the middle of exploring maps such as mansions or offices. Ideally, it could be something similar to the game Shadows of Doubt, where pressing J to open Simple Quest could let players activate a (potentially shared?) investigation corkboard to visualize the different people and clues and the links between them.

It would be great to be able to add folders inside a Recipe Book. Items in PF2 are leveled, and become available at X level, or you get a feat that gives you a number of formulas/recipes for a specific level of item. If I could sort them into folders, it would make this a lot easier. Currently, I'm using blank recipes to separate each level, which looks messy.

I'd love to be able to select 2 or more skills when setting up an Epic Roll. For example, i'd like to prompt the gang for EITHER an Invetigation OR a Survival roll - the player's choice. This way, if a particularly epic moment can be dealt with in 2 ways, players have more agency over their success/failure.

SimpleQuest is implemented such that the players don't have read-access to the underlying journal entries. It would be really helpful if you could integrate the two such that players with Omnisearch access could search through the visible entries (Lore, journals, quests, etc) within SimpleQuest. Allow for GM to limit what information players have access to, for example: Allow players to know what general time of day it is instead of the specific hour: Morning, dawn, dusk, midnight, etc. Allow players to only know what month or season it is, not the exact date. This is useful for survival campaigns or for times when you don't want the party to know how much time has passed. Have the temperature show up as "burning/warm/cold/freezing". All of these things are very useful if you want to have specific info as the gm, but only give players information based on skill checks. This is additional on top of this, but allowing specific players to have access to the specific info would be a nice cherry on top, if lets say a party member has an internal clock or an actual clock on them you as the gm can give them the exact time.

In many situations, after you close the filepicker the audio continues playing with no way to stop it other than reopening Filepicker+ and hovering over some audio again. I’ve tried repeatedly to force Custom System Builder (and I suspect other non-native systems) to display sliders in the Combat Tracker, but CSB doesn’t use native sliders—so we end up with no visual for health, mana, or AP. To solve this, could you add an alternative to the slider fields—separate “current” and “max” value inputs instead? That way, every system could show resource values correctly. Please consider voting this up—this feature would make everyone’s life much easier!

For indoor scenes, I would like to be able to have the lighting of sunset or midnight, without using current controls which are changing the time. These lightings are perfect for indoor maps. My proposition : a toggle to switch between indoors and outdoors. If this toggle is swtiched to indoors : stop weather animation and existing controls (sunrise, midday, sunset and midnight) modify only lighting and not time itself. If this toggle is switch to outdoors : existing behaviour. Of course, two different toggles (one for activating/deactivating the weather, one for light only/time+light) will also do the job. I hope that's clear, I'm not a native english speaker.

With the addition of groups to the v12 dnd5e v4.x combat tracker, I feel that the integration of those groups into Combat Carousel would be a great addition. Ideally, it should show in the combat tracker overhead as one icon, maybe with an icon over it to show it's a group, then once it reaches their shared initiative value, it expands outwards to reveal all of the tokens, letting you cycle through all of their initiatives, then shrinks back down to one icon once it passes their initiative. This would help solve the combat tracker becoming bloated and would give Carousel Combat Tracker the same functionality as the base combat tracker.

By default, Argon only shows items in the action/bonus action sections etc. based on the first activity on that item. However, some items have multiple activities with different activation costs. For instance, in my campaign, we use a common house rule that potions may be consumed for a bonus action or administered to another player as a full action. Though the item itself has two activities, it only shows up in the "Bonus Action" section of Argon because the bonus action activity is first. It would be great if the item would show up in all sections where it has a valid activity. Optionally, it would also be cool if the button launched the activity directly, assuming it is the only one which costs that action type.

This is technically a 3 part request but all fall under the same purview. The first two would be Skill Tree Configuration settings and the last is a Skill Configuration setting. - A setting option to change the default size of Skills for the Skill Tree, could be a setting just to set it as pixel x pixel size. - A setting to adjust the spacing between the skill grid tiles (ties into the next thing) - The Ability to set a skill's grid size (just another text field of x by x size), so a skill can take up a 2x2, 2x1, 3x3 etc... section of the grid. Allows the ability to customize and make Skill Nodes that are larger, wider etc.. basically implied importance and power when a node that is small and 1x1 leads up to a bigger 2x1 or 2x2 node. Also just adds a ton of customization (also allows making nodes like Borderlands 3x1 big nodes or Path of Exile Notables and Keystones)

Vision for Hexplorer tokens is currently global, meaning that if Player 1's token discovers tiles anywhere on the map, those tiles are revealed to ALL players, regardless of whether they've personally discovered them. By allowing GMs to assign individual vision to Hexplorer tokens, multiple players can partake in hex crawls, discovering lands on their own, without other players revealing everything to everyone regardless of their locations on the map. Alternatively, allowing GMs to set custom fogs of war for each Hexplorer token would achieve the same goal. If Player 1's FoW radius is set to 5, they can ONLY see anything within that radius, and tiles revealed by other players elsewhere will remain hidden to them until they personally discover them. Example image below: Red has a vision of 5, but since Hexplorer tokens are global/have no fog of war, Red still sees everything Green discovers, despite it being outside Red's field of vision.

Some suggestions I have for RPG damage numbers: - Make the animation untied to frame rate. If the FPS is uncapped, the numbers fly off really fast, so you can't see them (I play at 165 FPS so its impossible to read the numbers) - Make a setting to use one of the loaded system fonts and make styles adjustable in module settings, so that you don't have to edit the modules files to do so. Also, only partially a suggestion, but I noticed in V10 (unsure of v11), if you add a condition with the "append damage type text", it will spit out "No Damage" to each condition applied when replacing scrolling text. One thing I manually applied was a check that the applied damage doesn't output "No Damage" and avoid appending that to the displayed text.

This might be better served as an individual module, but it's based on Paper Doll's concepts and framework. The concept is a system for Foundry items to have a Paper Dolls-like interface to represent modifications made to items, such as Runes or Sockets in fantasy settings, or Attachments in modern/sci-fi ones. This could be purely cosmetic and used as a tool to track mods, but I'm also envisioning a system that takes advantage of Foundry's (or at least, 5e's) enchantments. Have an item made with an enchantment effect (and probably activity), and then by placing the item in a slot the enchantment is automatically applied to the parent item, and vice versa when removed. I am not sure of equivalent activities in other game systems. In a perfect world, individual items could have their own layouts, so a higher rarity weapon might be able to have more runes, or certain firearms being able to have attachments others cannot. Not sure how possible that would be, but I'm thinking about a sort of Skill Tree grid layout + background image design. Maybe it could involve creating templates elsewhere, and then selecting one to apply to an item, rather than directly tying the data to the items? No clue how reasonably possible this would be, but I think it'd be a worthwhile addition. Proof of concept images attached.

A lot of hexploration systems give a number of different statistics that might be tracked for a given hex / region. It's awesome to be able to put these in a tooltip so they're easily referenced, but it doesn't take much in the way of those details to make the tooltip an encumbrance rather than aid. Would it be possible to either - A) Add the ability to set a hotkey (shift/ctrl/whatever) that has to be held down for hex tooltips to show or B) Set an anchor point for hex tooltips so that you can have the tooltip not completely obscure the hex you're trying to point at?

Module: Simple Timekeeping Allow for week names in custom calendars. For example, I've created the typical Theyalan calendar for Glorantha (RuneQuest), and this calendar identifies each week of the season (ie, month). These week names are actually important in the lore and to the players during play. For example, the first week of each season (month) is Disorder. The Glorantha calendar identifies any particular day by Day Name, Week Name, Season Name, and Year. So, the first day of the year (Day 1, Week 1, Season 1) of year 1627 is: Freezeday, Disorder Week, Sea Season 1627, or Freezeday, Disorder Week, 1 Sea Season 1627 instead of (the current method in Simple Timekeeper): Freezeday, 1 Sea Season 1627 As another example, the 19th day of Fire Season would be: Fireday, Death Week, Fire Season 1627, or Fireday, Death Week, 19 Fire Season 1627 Rather than Fireday, 19 Fire Season 1627

A Puzzle where the players must solve an input sequence like the stratagems from Helldivers 2. Posibilities to adjust difficulty could involve serveral stages to solve, limited attempts or limited time. To set it up the GM has to predefine the sequences used by writing them down like: up, down, left, right or by initial letters only: u,d,l,r, to simplify the setup. Input as a player can be done either by using WASD or arrowkeys.

I don't know why I'd ever want to copy the time and date from the master world to my other worlds and every time I sync settings I have to find that option and disable it or else I have to hope that I have the time and date saved in my notes and then go in and fix it. Very frustrating. Can we please have an option to disable copying the time and date by default?

Description: Add the ability to define and display intercalary days (days that are not assigned to any day of the week) within a calendar. These days should: Appear at a fixed position in the calendar (e.g., between two specific weeks, at the end of a month, or mid-year). Not increment the weekday counter (e.g., if the day before is a “Saturday,” the day after should be “Sunday,” with the intercalary day in between). Support custom naming (e.g., “Mid-Fortnight Festival,” “Lithe,” etc.). Optionally allow event scheduling on them. Example Use Case: In the Hyperborean (FGG - The Lost Lands) calendar, each fortnight is 15 days long: two 7-day weeks separated by a non-weekday festival day. That festival day is not part of any week and should be represented distinctly in the calendar UI without shifting the weekday cycle.

Whilst traversing a known area the fastest route should always be taken to get to the selected location. For reference, in Rimworld, characters will choose to stay on highways and roads as they provide a higher land speed multiplier than dense woodlands or mountains. If a location outside of your known area is selected, then the token should proceed towards it making use of the most preferential terrain discovered along its path (unless it would require doubling back)

Add support to wildcard character when setting up path to a token image. The logic would be similar to the core feature, with the wildcard being used to randomly get an existing token image when dropping an actor to a scene. I believe that, ideally, the wildcard selection should be the same as the base token. For example, given the actor token image wildcard path: "foo-*-1.png" and the following files: - "foo-black-1.png" - "foo-black-2.png" - "foo-white-1.png" - "foo-white-2.png" If I add "foo-*-2.png" as a token image to token flip, I drop the actor and "foo-black-1.png" gets selected, I can only flip to "foo-black-2.png" and then back to "foo-black-1.png". I hope it makes sense.

This is similar to another request that I already upvoted, but it isn't quite the same. What I want is for token Flip to be able to recognize that a token was set up using the core wild card feature. For example, if my token is set up within core to randomly choose "bandit-*.webp" from the options "bandit-1.webp" and "bandit-2.webp," then token Flip would be able to recognize this and automatically create two token Flip faces when I activate the module, one using bandit-1 and the other bandit-2. This would allow token Flip to automatically integrate with premade modules and would also save time for new users of token Flip so that they don't have to set up their wild cards a second time, or even old users! I personally have my shared compendia which I create and work on in a zero module environment and I have a few monsters already with their wild cards set up, but it seems like a wasted potential once I activate token flip and I need to make every flip face again in my campaign world.

Right now they can't track time by themselves, I have to click the buttons. Smalltime let my players advance or revert time by themselves. A couple ideas for more puzzle options in the awesome puzzle locks module! Examples of each game can be found in a link below (sorry for some of them being on random flash game-esque websites). 1. The card game "Concentration" (also called Memory, Pairs, etc.) where the object of the game is to turn over pairs of matching cards by flipping two at a time until you have found all the pairs. https://codepen.io/zerospree/full/bNWbvW 2. A Pipe Dream/Pipe Mania style game where you have a grid of tiles depicting tubing. You have to assemble them by swapping them out, rotating, etc. so that the fluid will flow from an inlet to an outlet, and you have to do fast enough to keep ahead of the fluid. This one can kind of be accomplished using the existing "mosaic" puzzle type if someone is willing to build their own puzzle image in photoshop or something first, but maybe that means it would also be easier for you to implement. https://arcadespot.com/game/water-pipe/ 3. Another option for a pipe style game, if you think it's better, is the "Color Pipes" style where you need to click and drag across a grid to connect each circle to the other circle of the same color. The object of the game is to fill up all the tiles without overlapping any connections. https://www.coolmathgames.com/0-color-pipes That's all, and thanks so much for everything!

Hide the spell slots and then use something similar (visually) to indicate how many remaining spell points the caster has available to them. In a similar manner, also show the per-level cost to cast a spell at that level. Would require referencing the "Resource" location in position 1 that should be named "Spell Points" (if using the Advanced Spell Point System mod as well as, I think, the standard alternative rules for spell points) as a current/max resource; then also the configured rules for how much spells cost at a given level.

Currently we have the ability to replace the texture on an object with one from either a material browser or from an external file - however these new textures replace all maps from the original textures. It would be useful to be able to selectively NOT replace certain maps - most obviously the Normal map and Ambient Occlusion map, as this would allow for simple end-user customisation of assets without too much loss of fidelity. For example: A user applies the 'rock003' material browser map to a granite brick wall asset, ticks a 'preserve normals' and 'preserve AO' checkbox, and ends up with a wall that has a different colour and character but is still obviously a brick wall.

Is it possible to setup different sources for each of the different ways tidbits are displayed, so there is a source for pause text, loading screens and chat messages? This would allow for compendium linking in chat messages while retaining a readable version for the other two, while also allowing for different types of tidbits for example, more mechanics focused tidbits in chat messages and lore heavy tidbits on loading screens, as the sources could be tailored to each of the display methods. Alternatively, is it possible for the loading screen and pause text to parse compendium links, so they are more readable while still providing the correct functionality in the chat messages.

Story: As a GM, I want to sync my externally imported journal entries with simple quest journal entries so that I do not have to drag and drop individual journal entires into predefined SimpleQuest journal entires. Background: I have a Obsidian to Foundry pipeline where I import my folder and note structure into Foundry (https://foundryvtt.com/packages/md-to-journal). It's great, an absolute game changer, and I love it! My players also love using Simple Quest. But I need to be able to bridge the imported Obsidian folders to Simple Quest. Today the solution in place, Simple Quest sees each Journal Entry as a Category, and ignores subfolders inside the Lore and Quest folders. So, when I drag a folder of say - all of the worlds in my setting, where each world is its own journal entry, and there's a folder that has all of them in them - Simple Quest does not recognize any of it. I can drag individual journal entries over, but then I lose the folder structure. This is suboptimal for my content pipeline. --- Today's Functionality: Given I have the appropriate permissions to modify the Lore and Quest journal folders And I am on the Journals tab of Foundry, NOT in Simple Quest When I drag a folder of journal entries from outside of the Lore or Quest folders into the Lore or Quest folders Then Simple Quest will not recognize the -folder- as a new or updated Category and does not display the contents of the folder. --- Desired Functionality: Given I have the appropriate permissions to see the Lore and Quest journal folders And I am on the Journals tab of Foundry, NOT in Simple Quest When I drag a folder of journal entries from outside of the Lore or Quest folders into the Lore or Quest folders Then Simple Quest will recognize the -folder- as a new or updated Category and display the contents accordingly. --- After searching for this specific request relatively extensively, I've run across a lot of folder requests that have been removed as duplicates. So, I've gone ahead and checked the following: This is -not- a duplicate of https://theripper93.canny.io/feature-requests/p/simple-quest-ability-to-add-categories-to-journals. -- This details desired functionality for adding categories and folders INSIDE Simple Quest. The desired functionality is specific to recognizing folders created outside of Simple Quest and dragged in as new or updated categories. Some additional requests I've found: https://theripper93.canny.io/feature-requests/p/simple-quest-folders -- This is similar, but I am specifically honing on dragging and dropping folders from outside the Lore and Quest folders into the Lore and Quest Folders https://theripper93.canny.io/feature-requests/p/simple-quest-import-from-obsidian -- I am -not- requesting an import from obsidian, as noted I use another module for that, which imports each .md file as a Journal entry. This is specifically related to moving those folders from -outside- the Lore and Quest folders -into- the Lore and Quest folders.

Currently a paper doll accepts a configuration of equipment for better immersion. But often players change their mind and wish to equip a different set of equipment. A fighter that changes their weapons/shields two or three times in a combat would be a use case. They want to remember/save and switch between previous configurations with a single button press. Macro control of this is also a tremendous immersion enhancement. Three to five configuration saves are ideal.

[I'm a bit specific here, hope I'm not the only one: I'm currently using Monk's Common Display to cast a player screen to a TV for in-person gaming, and I'm using the included "Hide all UI" feature. By doing this, the left and right panels are only made "invisible", but it seems the carousel still "feels" them, and so alings itself not at the center of the screen but at the center of that available space between the panels. I hope I made myself clear in what I mean :-)].

Right now it seems what is visible (beside spells) is determined if item needs an action (at least in DND5e). But due to some needs, some items might be shown you don´t want to, eg. ammuntion. SO it would be great to have a possibility to filter this somehow. Eithe rin config by item-type, or better by a flag on the item itself. Maybe also have an option by rightclicking an item in the HUD to hide it (in combination with the flag on item, to get it again, need to switch flag on item, or have an "unhide all" option in HUD)

Then if you attack you are broken out of hide unless you have a feature that lets you remain hidden after an attack or spell usage. Having Disengage work with Midi-QoL in not triggering reactions if active. Then disappearing after the turn. While having the new player actions from 2024 added to the action list, such as study, influence, improvise, etc. Mockups/Examples: For the Hiding one, Stealthy does this but you have to roll stealth. So maybe have it require stealthy if needed and it rolls stealth when using Hide.

Summary: Enhance the Tidbits module by adding new functionality to its JSON structure. This feature would improve flexibility and allow Dungeon Masters to dynamically tailor lore drops based on in-game scenes and contexts. With these enhancements, the module can provide custom "Did you know?" text, integrate relevant images, and organize tidbits by scene. Proposed Features: 1) Customizable "Did You Know?" Text: -Add a new key to the JSON to allow users to replace the default "Did you know?" text with custom headers. Example: "custom_did_you_know_text": "Fascinating Desert Facts" Scene-Based Tidbit Categorization: 2) Scene-Based Tidbit Categorization: -Introduce a JSON structure that links tidbits to specific scenes or locations in the game world. For example, tidbits about deserts could display only when the party is in a desert scene. -Proposed JSON structure: dense_json.png 3) Image Path Mapping: -Add a key in the JSON structure (img_dir) to dynamically link tidbits to relevant image directories for visual storytelling. -For instance, tidbits under "Television News Broadcast" could map to a "TV" folder, and "Radio News Report" to a "radio" folder. Benefits of Implementation: -Dynamic Immersion: Scene-specific lore drops and associated imagery enhance the player experience, keeping the storytelling immersive and engaging. -Ease of Use: Eliminates the need to manually update JSON files before sessions, saving time for Dungeon Masters. -Modular Flexibility: Supports campaigns with diverse settings, enabling seamless integration of custom content across multiple scenes or worlds. -Visual Integration: Pairing tidbits with thematic images adds a visual element to the narrative, enriching the module’s functionality.

Using Bastions in a Forgotten Realms World puts the turn cycle from the DMG (7 days) at odds with the week lenght of the Calendar of Haptos (10 days) I want to keep the DMG cycle at 7 days, so I dont have to worry about scaling and adjustung the values. It'd be nice if Simple Timekeeping would allow for those bastion turns to be incorporated either by automatically advancing the turns once their due every 7 days, or by allowing for an event to be repeated every X (7 in this case, but more customization is always welcome) days, so I can make myself a reminder to advance the turn once its due. In my test, the bastion did not recognize the advancement of time and was stuck at 0/7 until I hit the turn button to complete it.

So last excursion they may have departed from the south side of the map, but this session they are approaching from the West side. In the current version, I need to open the token properties, disable "IsHexplorer?", move the token, and then re-enable it. It would make the game module easier to use if I could either hold down a key to disable Hexploring while dragging the token (as GM only), or if I could modify the prototype token to have Hexplorer enabled on it so I could just delete the old party/Group token and drag another one from the sidebar without having to reconfigure Hexplorer on it.

Image Context: allow non GM users showing images to themselves. This is very easy to implement, I'd submit a PR if I could, all you have to do is in config.js line 16 move this line to line 14 - before isGM check $(document).on("contextmenu", "img", ImageContext.onContextMenu); in main.js replace return of method getButtons line 112 with a conditional return return game.user.isGM ? [ { name: "Show", icon: '<i class="fas fa-eye"></i>', callback: ImageContext.show, }, { name: "Send to Chat", icon: '<i class="fas fa-share"></i>', callback: ImageContext.toChat, }, { name: "Copy URL", icon: '<i class="fas fa-link"></i>', callback: ImageContext.copyURL, }, ] : [{ name: "Show", icon: '<i class="fas fa-eye"></i>', callback: ImageContext.show, }]; This automatically only shows the image to player without allowing them to show the image to other players nor to send it to chat/show link This should be refactored not to repeat the Show clause

Module Name: Rich Info Tooltips Description: Add the ability to make an @INFO hyperlink use alternate text from the name of a Rich Info Tooltip journal page, like core Foundry does for document hyperlinks using { } after the link itself. This is useful for organization of longer tooltip journals, such as the case of a lore codex, and for keeping the flow of text descriptions more natural while linking tooltip entries - such as where you may need the link to an article to be the plural version of the word in one instance, but singular in another - or in instances where you may need to capitalize the hyperlink text in context, but not in every instance. For example, you could have a link that says "@INFO[dragon]{dragons}" where the text of the link is "dragons" but the actual Rich Info Tooltip page is named "dragon". Or if you had a sentence that said something like, "Dragons come in a variety of types." and in another location you have a different sentence that says, "It is believed dragons were once worshiped as gods" where in both cases you need to link the word "dragons" to the "dragon" tooltip page, but need to capitalize the word in one instance. Excluding the { } would simply make the hyperlink use the default article name as is currently the case.

Textured landscapes with significant height variation that are generated without triplanar generally look pretty bad, especially if the textures are more complex. Currently, from what I can tell, triplanar is supported only on the material attached to the main 3D object, but terrain typically uses a few textures for variation, such as when using heatmaps or splatmaps in 3DC. The workflow that I think makes sense is going from splatmap/heatmap for textures on the terrain and then applying triplanar to each of the channels/textures. It seems like this would really improve the look of terrain generated and textures in 3DC as well as when importing such models from other software packages!

I personally use ordinals or English to make things easier for my Canadian group at the expense of a little bit of immersion, but I find it worth it. Barovia's lunar cycle can also differ depending on your campaign and homebrew. In order to accommodate people who may need to customize the provided Barovian calendar, can you please add the JSON format for it to the wiki so people can just change what they need and use it as a custom calendar. That's probably the easiest and quickest way. I could probably rebuild it based of the Harptos one provided but I'd rather build it off what is already in the module if possible since I think it would be easy for you to just grab the JSON info and paste into the wiki. Perhaps a setting where you enter the maximum amount of files that should be loaded in one go? Then maybe a button "Load More..." could appear to load another batch, etc Could help the machine catch up with the load. That is of course a problem that is inherent with Foundry itself, but maybe one that Filepicker+ could solve?
